These LowProfile reference electrodes are designed for use with the Honeycomb Spectroelectrochemical Cell Kit (and other small volume cells). The low cost of these reference electrodes also make them ideal for any application. The non-aqueous reference electrode has an Ag wire and no filling electrolyte. The outer diameter of the electrodes is 3.5 mm and the electrical connection is made via a 1.0 mm diameter pin at the top end of the electrode. This pin can accept an alligator clip or a small cable with an appropriately sized “pin and socket” connector.

Three different lengths are available for these LowProfile reference electrodes. The standard version, which is 74 mm long, is intended for use with our Compact Voltammetry Cells. The shorter version, which is 60 mm long, is intended for use with our Honeycomb Spectroelectrochemical Cell. Additionally, Pine Research offers an extra long version for taller cells, or cells with long necks, that is 110 mm long.
