This disk insert is used for a variety of electrochemical applications. Namely, the disk insert is used as the working electrode in ChangeDisk Rotating Disk (RDE) and Rotating Ring-Disk (RRDE) electrodes. This 5 mm OD x 4 mm thick disk insert has been precision machined to exactly fit Pine Research 5 mm ChangeDisk electrode tips. One side of the disk is polished, and its opposite site is not and has a slight bevel for optimal insertion and removal from the ChangeDisk tip. We offer many different materials and even different sizes on request (not stocked). Contact us for custom disk materials, sizes, and finishes.
