Brand Assets

Pine Research values consistency and clarity when it comes to our brand and its assets, such as colors, logos, and graphical elements.  This page describes our brand assets and how to propertly use them.  As always, contact us with any questions.

Our official company name is Pine Research Instrumentation, Inc.. When referring to our company, you should use any of the following name versions:

• Pine Research Instrumentation, Inc.
• Pine Research Instrumentation
• Pine Research

Do not use any other name.

Pine Research defines two colors, which are used in our full color logo.  HEX and RGB colors are suitable for digital and website based colors whereas the CMYK based colors are used for print output. The official colors are as follows:

The current Pine Research logo was revised in 2015.  It features the “PINE” embellishment in a large, custom font, with the name of the Pine entity (e.g., Research) below.  About the text is an orbital swoop and icon that corresponds with the Pine entity.

Pine Research requires that our logo be used properly and in accordance with the following provisions:

• Unless specifically directed to this page by a Pine Research staff member, you are not allowed to publish any content, digital or print, using our logo without explicit permission. You may request to use our logo by sending us a message. We will follow up with you by e-mail with additional questions.
• Ensure the proper logo is used for the intended application.  Web and digital applications can make use of bitmaps in JPG or PNG format.  Print applications should use the vector-based logos, provided in EPS and AI formats.
• The logo may be resized; however the height and width proportion must not be altered.  For example, if logo height is increased, then width must also increase proportionally.
• The logo must have excellent resolution.  No grainy, fuzzy, or poor resolution uses of the logo are allowed.
• You may not re-color the logo in any way.  Only the full-color, black, or white logos may be used.
