These coarse polishing disks (73 mm OD, nylon, pack of 20) have a self-adhesive layer on back side to facilitate mounting on a polishing wheel or other sturdy surface.  These disks are suitable for aggressive polishing of an electrode surface that needs more the a simple and routine fine polish.  Refer to to the Pine Research electrode polishing guide for our recommendation on using this product.  The Nylon polishing pads are typically used with 0.05 µm and 0.3 µm alumina suspensions.
