Ideal for corrosion studies, this 12 mm OD rotating cylinder electrode tip uses 12 mm OD RCE cylinder inserts (sold separately), fabricated from just about any metal of interest. Standard cylinder inserts offered by Pine Research include several varieties of steel; however, cylinders may be made from other materials upon request. Alternately, cylinder inserts with the appropriate dimensions may be fabricated by the customer. A mounting tool (sold separately) is required to change the cylinder.

Electrode Rotator Compatibility Notice

This product is only compatible with the ASR (AFASR), MSRX (AFMSRX), MSR (AFMSRCE), MSR evo (AFMSR24), and CPR (AFCPRB/AFCPRBE) electrode rotators.

Maximum Rotation Rate: 2000 RPM

Never exceed maximum rotation rate when working with rotating electrodes.

Thermal Stability Range: 10°C - 25°C

Electrode damage may occur at temperatures beyond recommended range. This range is provided for electrodes with PTFE or PCTFE shrouds.
