This kit contains 3 sets of porous glass frits and short lengths of FEP heat shrink tubing for replacing the frits on our non-aqueous reference electrodes.  The frits are a porous glass material called Varapor100 (a replacement to the now-discontinued Vycor), which is a glass frit containing pores of around 10 nm in diameter.  This glass frit is fixed in place via FEP heat shrink tubing.

Helpful Tip
The heat-shrink tubing required to hold Varapor100 frits in place may add more to the diameter than the hole may allow. When using a Varapor100 based product, you may have to install from the back/underside; or, you may have to insert through a 3.5 mm opening before attaching the Varapor100 with heat-shrink tubing.
