MAXIMUM ROTATION RATE: 7000 RPM -- Never exceed maximum rotation rate when working with rotating electrodes.

These single-piece, Fixed-Disk RDEs are ideal for applications requiring a high rotation rate.  The shaft and disk electrode are permanently attached, producing a precision, balanced RDE with a PTFE shroud useful for a variety of applications.

Legacy AFE2A Series RDE tips made of other electrode materials, including silver, palladium, aluminum, iron, nickel, tungsten and various steel alloys, are considered custom, made-to-order products.  Contact Pine for pricing and lead time.

TEMPERATURE RANGE: 10°C – 25°C — Electrode damage may occur at temperatures beyond recommended range.

This series of RDE tips may only be used with ASR rotators.

These single-piece, Fixed-Disk RDE tips are ideal for applications requiring a high rotation rate.  The shaft and disk electrode are permanently attached, producing a precision balanced RDE useful at rotation rates as high as 7000 RPM.  The disk electrode can be made from a variety of metals, such as gold, platinum, or glassy carbon, and the shroud is fabricated from chemically-resistant PTFE.  Other disk materials are available upon request.  The recommended temperature range for these electrodes is between 10°C – 25°C, and they are only compatible with Pine Research’s ASR rotator.
