Chemical Compatibility Caution Notice
PEEK dissolves with long exposure to concentrated acids.
Thermal Stability Range: 10°C - 80°C
Electrode damage may occur at temperatures beyond recommended range. This range is provided for electrodes with PEEK shrouds.

Avoid using this reference electrode with the following: NH3 buffers, sulfides, perchlorates, non-aqueous/organic solvents, and alkaline solutions stronger than 0.1M OH–.
Maximum Rotation Rate
All rotating electrodes, including RDE, RRDE, and RCE, have an assigned maximum rotation rate. The maximum rotation rate is specific to each electrode series. Do not exceed the maximum rotation rate when working with rotating electrodes.
Specify Power Cord
This product requires a power cord to connect to AC mains. Please specify the plug style used in your region when you order this product. We stock a variety of power cords.

Fragile Material Warning
Platinum wire is fragile. While it can be formed into a shape, repeated bending will cause the wire to break. In almost all cases, this is irreversible and cannot be repaired. Do not bend platinum wire.
Consumable U-Cups!
The PTFE U-Cup is a consumable product for the ChangeDisk RDE and RRDE tips. To ensure proper operation and longevity of the tip, Pine Research recommends replacing the U-Cup every 4-5 times you perform a ChangeDisk operation. Permanent, irreversible damage to the tip will result if the U-Cup is not regularly changed. Consider purchase a backup supply when ordering a new ChangeDisk RDE or RRDE tip.
WaveVortex 10 Electrode Rotator
The WaveVortex 10 Electrode Rotator is designed to suit the needs of those looking to perform rotating disk (RDE) and rotating ring-disk (RRDE) electrode experiments with limited lab space. This small footprint rotator is compatible with all 15 mm OD RDE/RRDE electrodes manufactured by Pine Research, along with many of our cells, glassware, and accessories.
The control box, motor, shaft, and enclosure are all fixed into one convenient unit, making the WaveVortex compact and portable. The rotation rate can be manually adjusted on the front panel and monitored on the digital display. Alternately, the potentiostat can control the rotation rate using the appropriate rate control cable.
E6R1 Series ChangeDisk Rotating Ring-Disk Electrode (RRDE) tip
The E6R1 Series ChangeDisk Rotating Ring-Disk Electrode (RRDE) with Platinum Ring tip is one of the most common RDE electrodes we offer. This tip features a 15 mm OD PEEK shroud and a removable hardware assembly, which permits the installation and removal of 5 mm OD disk inserts (Glassy Carbon disk insert included in this bundle). The Platinum ring electrode is permanently installed. The tip threads into the shaft installed on the WaveVortex 10. Pine Research offers more electrode in more materials than anybody else.
