This new LowProfile platinum (Pt) counter electrode has a 6.6 mm OD PTFE body and terminates with a 0.5 mm platinum coil that has an approximate surface area of 0.69 cm². This counter electrode is ideally designed for use with our Low Volume electrochemical cells.

Platinum wire is fragile. While it can be formed into a shape, repeated bending will cause the wire to break. In almost all cases, this is irreversible and cannot be repaired. Do not bend platinum wire.
