Pine Research offers four different water circulator kits for use with jacketed electrochemical cells.
The circulator maintains the temperature of a fluid reservoir at a set-point of your choosing. The circulating fluid is typically water, but other fluids are available. The fluid is circulated from the reservoir, out through hoses to the water jacket on the electrochemical cell, and then back to the reservoir. The temperature is typically monitored by a sensor located in the reservoir.
See "Description" tab below for additional information.
Each kit includes a pair of chloroprene tubes (8 mm ID x 1.0 meter long) and two pairs of hose clamps to facilitate connection to the hose barb connectors on our jacketed electrochemical cells.
Water Circulators on this page ship by LTL freight (on a pallet) and cannot be shipped by UPS, Fedex, or DHL. Contact us for a shipping quotation for these items.
Chloroprene tubing is rated for use between -20°C and +120°C.

Pine Research offers four different water circulator kits for use with jacketed electrochemical cells. Each kit is available in two different AC power options, depending on the AC mains supply voltage and frequency in your country.

The fluid is circulated from the reservoir, out through hoses to the water jacket on the electrochemical cell, and then back to the reservoir. Two of the kits below (AKAQUA42/43 and AKAQUA52/53) include the option for monitoring the temperature using a “remote RTD sensor“.
The RTD sensor is PTFE coated and may be placed inside the electrochemical cell to provide more direct control of the actual temperature in the cell.
Two of the kits below (AKAQUA32/33 and AKAQUA52/53) have refrigeration capability, allowing them maintain the fluid at temperatures lower than room temperature. These units are heavier than non-refrigerated units and may require special shipping and installation procedures.
