The MSR Rotator is calibrated prior to shipment from our production facility.  The calibration of an MSR Rotator involves calibration of the voltage input and output to the 1 mV/RPM.  This is accomplished by rotating a shaft at a set RPM, measuring the rotation rate with an external tachometer, and then adjusting the potentiometers passing voltage between the user control and the motor.  Finally, the system is calibrated with a traceable voltage source.  At the customer site, calibration may be required.  The MSR Rotation Rate Calibration Kit provides the tools to perform the front aspect of the instrument calibration.

The MSR Rotation Rate Calibration Kit includes handheld laser tachometer, rotating shaft with reflective target, and a trimmer tool.
