Our WaveNow® series potentiostats offer a highly portable and powerful alternative to traditional benchtop instruments. Weighing less than 300 grams, the WaveNowxv Potentiostat/Galvanostat features a small form factor and a convenient USB interface. Under the control of our powerful AfterMath® software package, the instrument is capable of performing a wide variety of popular DC electroanalytical techniques.
Get started immediately with a new instrument today! Key features of the WaveNowxv are listed below:
- Applied/Measured Current Ranges: ±10 µA to ±100 mA
- Applied/Measured Potential Range: ±10 V
- Operation Modes: Potentiostat, Galvanostat, OCP, ZRA
- DC Techniques: All popular potentiostatic and galvanostatic sweep and step methods are included (BE, CV, LSV, CA, DPV, SWV, NPV, ASV, OCP, ZRA, RCP, etc.)
- Special Bundles: Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) and Spectroelectrochemistry (view bundles)
- AfterMath Software: Powerful plotting, Analysis tools, Data transforms
The WaveNowxv portable USB potentiostat is the extended voltage version of our popular WaveNow® potentiostat product line. The extended voltage range (±10V) makes the WaveNowxv the ideal choice for researchers involved in lithium ion battery research or other high potential applications.
Good for Teaching. Great for Research. Excellent for your Budget!
Portable. Only 30 mm thick and less than 175 mm long and weighing less than 300 grams, this potentiostat is the ultimate portable instrument–small enough to fit into your laptop’s tote bag, your carry-on luggage, or your coat pocket. You can take your potentiostat to your work area rather than having to move your work area to your potentiostat. An optional battery pack lets you take your potentiostat into the field when needed.
Capable. Designed with the everyday user in mind, the specifications for the potentiostat are broad enough to permit you to perform a wide range of routine electrochemical techniques but also prudently chosen to allow for a simple and affordable design. This instrument supports common DC electroanalytical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, bulk electrolysis, differential pulse voltammetry, square-wave and normal pulse voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and chronopotentiometry. The potentiostat performs equally well with more advanced techniques such as Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE) voltammetry and UV/Visible Spectroelectrochemistry.
